The Brief

Over 1000 real estate agents from around New Zealand arrived in Wellington for the Harcourts New Zealand Annual Conference. NW Group being the preferred technical supplier for Venues Wellington, worked as a team to deliver the event.

Solution

One-half of the TSB Bank Arena was transformed into a purpose-built raked auditorium for 1,000 delegates. The other half of the arena was utilised for exhibition and catering with more than 35 trade stands. The conference also had a substantial breakout requirement which changed in size and set-up throughout the conference.

The absolute flexibility and vision of Venues Wellington and partners was highlighted again on the final day of the conference when TSB Bank Arena and Auditorium (Shed 6) were transformed into a spectacular venue for pre-dinner drinks and dinner for 1,000 people, all achieved in less than four hours.

Outcome

The Harcourts conference was a great success. Delegates enjoyed the set-up of the conference and the organisers were happy with how the event turned out.
