 The Brief

cievents engaged Spyglass through our longstanding, preferred partnership to provide AV and lighting services for the annual Flight Centre New Zealand National Ball at Spark Arena.

Solution

With over 1400 attendees, we worked together to ensure the stage and screens were impactful, had a big presence in the space, and were easily viewed from all four corners of the room. The hero screen was our 15m x 8m surface that we projected 4k content onto with two Barco 30k machines. All footage was provided in 4K, and was delivered from servers to projectors via a fibre network. Additionally we had two 8m x 4.5m screens, as well as two 12m x 4.96m screens out wide. We projection mapped onto cievents custom made fascias around the side screens and middle screen for added effect.

Lighting-wise, we installed over 340 fixtures, a mixture of GLP Impressions X4Ls, Robe BMFL Blades and Spots, Martin MAC Auras, ULA Sharpies, Ledrag Litecraft Matrix, LED strobes and a number of LED Pars.

Audio was taken care of via our L’Acosutics K1, K2 and KARA systems.

Outcome

Spyglass and cievents worked closely together to exceed expectations and deliver with a bang - the guests were 'wowed' and impressed!
