O-I Glass Lean + Green - Adelaide, Australia

O-I Glass is the largest manufacturer of glass containers in the world. Their new Lean + Green range of lightweight wine bottles greatly reduces their ecological footprint through weight, raw material and energy savings.

We supplied our new 15sqm inflatable cube venue with double-HD interior projection. The cube can be erected almost anywhere, indoors or out, with minimal impact and can accommodate up to 200 visitors.

Toyota Dealer Awards '09

A stellar night honouring the stars of Toyota New Zealand.
We expanded our curved screen in the Auckland Museum Event Centre to 30m for use as a motion video backdrop.

Toyota asked for full control of the content, which is unusual for a show of this size. Our solution was dual high-definition PowerPoint blended with our video backdrop using a Vista Spyder. This way, presenters had remote control of slides while the continuous wrap-around effect was preserved.

Top Gear Live - New Zealand

For the NZ leg of the Top Gear Live show we supplied a Vista Spyder vision processing unit and operator to mix between VT and stereoscopic camera feeds. For the Stig’s live 3D chase experience, we had a polarised filter kit purpose-built for two of our Christie 20k projectors. The images were overlaid on an impressive ten metre 3D passive screen, drawing the live audience into the British petrol-heads' extravaganza.

Tourism New Zealand Rugby Ball - London

The second installation of the Ball had a brand new feature: exterior projection. Shooting from a tower over twenty metres away, two Christie S+20Ks were stacked, blasting super rich kiwi imagery on the side of the ball. A heart-warming sight if everything else was frozen to the bone.

Inside, we had made some improvements to the projector configuration, maximising coverage and improving line-up time.

Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards 2008

Stop. Pause. Record. Play. Fast Forward! Seven free-hanging shapes oversaw the biggest night in kiwi music. Our geometric correction had to be perfectly calculated to fit content to the different shaped screen sections, including a circle and three triangles.

Live to air for the first time, expectations were high. On the day we ran the broadcast package from the same Watchout system as the on-screen visuals, saving the TV crews from manually cueing media. Our setup included multiple levels of fail-safe devices including DVI switching and one of our two Vista Spyders.

O-I Glass University

OI Asia Pacific came to us with a vision for an evocative environment in which to host presentations to visiting delegates.

With our experience in widescreen and curved displays, we quickly resolved this seamless, three-sided projection surface. We developed motion content in-house to serve the extra-wide resolution.

Gen-i Annual Conference & Award Ceremony '08

Gen-i is the leading ICT services company in New Zealand. With 3,000 staff and revenues in excess of $1.6 billion, this company demands nothing less than mind-blowing events.

Together with The Dub Module and Fabric Shelter, we constructed this immense projection octagon, which utilised 11,000 pixel wide-plus video content and live VJ feeds to get the night pumping.

Each wall was front-projected with a Christie 20k projector for ensuring maximum brightness.

Field Days is the biggest event of the year for North Island farming. In 2008, LIC was determined to make a big impression with the launch of their DNA Proven technology.

Our 10m inflatable dome welcomed visitors to the LIC site, taking them on a breathtaking journey from grass roots to the sub-cellular level.

Auckland Museum - Anzac Day

For the first time, the public had a chance to watch "Heroes of Gallipoli", the only known film footage of ANZAC soldiers in action at Gallipoli projected on the wings of the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

Two 20K projectors were used for high-brightness over the large surface, driven by a simple Watchout back-end for control and playback stability.

Tourism New Zealand Rugby Ball - Paris

In late 2007 we were contracted by Inside Out Productions to project media seamlessly over the interior of this giant inflatable rugby ball. Utilising a number of High-Definition sources, we were delivering video and motion graphics content at all angles, completely surrounding audiences with breathtaking scenery, transporting visitors from all over the world to our little piece of paradise.

Flight Centre National Ball

Bond Girls, Aston Martins and Martinis into the small hours!
A custom made thirty-metre screen for front and rear projection divided the venue into two zones. One for formal proceedings, the other for letting loose to a live band. We used Watchout and the Spyder display system to paint the divide with high-resolution content throughout the night.

Dewar's Academy of Whisky - China, Moscow, Athens

Dewar's travelling exhibition has at it's heart, a 270° floor to ceiling projected "Masterclass". This immersive environment features virtual and live presenters working together to guide guests on a tour of the rich history of Scotch Whisky, while imparting all the essential tasting and appreciation skills in a fun interactive environment.

A total of 75m of screen includes a working door for live presenters to make their dramatic appearance.

New Zealand Music Awards 2007

Playback of The Dub Module and The Darkroom's first-class motion graphics had to be smooth and 100% reliable on the night.

Spyglass synchronised multiple visual sources and a high-fidelity audio feed to frame accurately, allowing for a seamless scripted show and the ability for a VJ mix to live-jam with the video playback.
